Since the launch of the new The Balanced Mind Foundation website and the change in our membership structure, there has been a huge increase in the number of families coming to thebalancedmind.org.

Jean’s second son, Pete wanted a big hockey party for his birthday, but Jean didn’t think it was appropriate for Pete to receive dozens of presents.  Pete agreed to ask for donations to The Balanced Mind Foundation in lieu of birthday presents, and in turn, was allowed to invite 22 boys to his hockey birthday party. Pete presented The Balanced Mind Foundation with an envelope filled with checks totaling $315!
