"In Other Words" Part 4: What's wrong with "Retard"?; Cerebral Palsy, Autism, ADHD thru Eyes of a Doctor & Special O Athlete

We see stigma people with disabilities face from Jimmy, a 27-year old doctor whose 19-year old brother has Cerebral Palsy & Jerry, a 23-year old Special Olympics athlete who has ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) & Asperger’s Syndrome. Jerry tells us why “retard” is hurtful & what word he prefers. Jimmy helps us brainstorm Other Words we can use besides the R Word when we need to vent about frustrating people or situations.
