What in the world is a webinar?

A webinar is essentially a seminar or meeting that is held on the web.  From the comfort of your own home and your own computer you are connected with all other meeting participants, and most importantly, with our guest speaker.

Webinars give us a meeting with audio and visual capabilities.  Unlike our previous chats, you can hear the speaker, listen to far more content than with a written chat, and view documents, websites, pictures and slides.

No special equipment is needed to participate. All you’ll need is a computer with speakers or a set of headphones that you can plug in. If you are able to play music or hear video clips from the internet, then your computer is equipped with speakers and you will be able to hear the webinar.
