Bipolar Doesn't Take a Summer Vacation

Summer has finally arrived.  It’s time for relaxing…going to the pool, baseball games, BBQs, or even taking off on a family vacation.   Unfortunately, as a parent of a child with a serious mood disorder, you know that summer isn’t necessarily relaxing.  It can be a time of increased tension,  strain,  and perhaps even a little too much “togetherness”.   You are now on call 24 hours a day.

Feeling a little overwhelmed?  Reach out to others by joining a support group,  or visiting the The Balanced Mind Foundation forums or live chat.  The Balanced Mind Foundation hasn’t gone on vacation either.  We’re here to offer you the support and help you need.

Just like you, The Balanced Mind Foundation relies on support – including the financial support of parents such as you.  We are in this together…. so won’t you please take a moment to support The Balanced Mind Foundation?  We rely on your donations. It takes less than a minute of your time to help assure that The Balanced Mind Foundation will continue to be here for all families who need our help.

Wishing you a relaxing and healthy summer,

Liz Tunney Williams
