Just Yesterday
It seems like it was just yesterday when I felt like the bottom dropped out of my life. It seemed like out of nowhere my daughters were disappearing before my eyes. So many hospital stays, suicide attempts and psychotic episodes. Where did it all come from? Bipolar tried to rob my girls from me but it hasn't won and it never will.
It hasn't been an easy road but we have crossed many miles to get where we are today. My girls, now 21, just 12 when I first came here are now college students, persuing their dreams and actually smiling and laughing and enjoying life.
Today they are in control of their own illness, taking care of themselves and growing into sucessful young woman.
It seems like just yesterday when I had no hope. Today I believe for every new day to be better.
