Trileptal (?)
Not sure I spelled that correctly.
It is a mood stabilizer? I think it is one of the anticonvulsants also. So...if my dd had a rash from the lamictal, does that leave trileptal out of the equation too??

Trileptal did not work for us, but it is worth a try, as it is not bad in the side effects category. You'd be lucky if it worked. We have tried it twice, hoping.
Our daughter cannot take trazadone, but she can take HIGH doses of risperdal with good effect!! Wish they would restart that, and SOON.

L,
Yes, you spelled it right :-) And having a rash to Lamictal does not rule out trying other AED's. Best of luck with the new med.

It's a mild mood stabilizer with few side effects (doesn't require blood draws either). We use it in combination with another mood stabilizer.
