What about Pfeiffer Institute? Has anybody tried this?
--I have only heard and read about the Pfeiffer institute, where they conduct a series of test, blood, hair etc to find out what deficiency or allergy etc your child has that is causing all sorts of mental and behavioral issues. I want to know from someone who has used this research center, I am willing to try every natural way possible to get my dd off the medications. but the cost is high, I want to know if it's worth it. Thank you very much! any advice will help

I took my son there over ten years ago. They said he had high lead levels and prescribed about 20 vitamins a day for him. Unfotunately, he was so young it was to hard for him to take all those big pills so we quit. I actually don't know anyone in IL who has said they helped. Not sure if that is a good sign or bad sign, but I would assume if they were doing great work someone would've said something.
And yes it is super expensive. I would reccommend seeing an endocronologist first.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Look on the CAM forum and find the link to the natural healing doctors. I forget what it is. But there is a list of professional providers who use supplements.
I found a good doctor that way, although it did not work for us here, as we have organic brain dysfunction from FASD.

Thank you for your responses. I only heard one case of a teen who was cured from depression by finding his mineral deficiency. If only all cases were that easy!!
