Creating a FB page support group for North GA moms!
We all know that being a mom with a bipolar kid can be very lonely. My heart is telling me to start a support group for North GA moms to come together and vent, cry, rejoice, whatever emotions we can share with one another. I would like to start a FB group...private of course for those interested in this. Eventually, we could even meet for coffee or just a break from our normal routine to have friendship and support from those who understand and have been there. Like I said, this group would be private and those interested would have to ask to join. I don't do this to make it difficult for support, I just want to protect the privacy of those who have already been through enough.

I'm in Kim! I think you have my email address but if not you can always contact me through the messaging system here (if you click on people's username on the forums it takes you to a contact page.) I've also thought about trying to start a group and would be glad to help as much as possible to get it going. I noticed you can also do a search for members in GA here and we could divide up the list and send emails to everyone listed if you want to try that- because I'm not sure how many people visit the forums so there may be some people who would like to join but aren't seeing your message here.
