Yes...another question.

So I have done nothing but try to figure out what is worng with Taylor...the words are all blurring together.  Honestly, she has like EVERY symptom of diabetes.  ALL of them...blurry vision, UTI, excessive urination and thirst, tingly feet, list goes on and on.

Am I wrong or doesn't risperdal and some of the other meds put you at a higher risk for diabetes?

ALL of her weight is right around her middle.  The rest of her is TINY.

Yes, Risperdal and these other meds can mess with blood glucose levels, cause metabolic syndrome, and raises the risk of diabetes. Some also raise risk for visual field defects. Yes, she does need to get tested for diabetes and have her blood glucose levels,  cholesterol levels, homocysteine, inflammatory markers, blood pressure, and eyes monitored -- that should be standard procedure while on those meds. My daughters both had vision changes while on the meds. Most were temporary - lasting only while on the meds. The younger daughter, as you know, had some permanent loss from the Zoloft, but it is minor.

Older dd: formerly(?) teen-onset bipolar (morphed into ultradian cycling): "Recovered" after over 13 years - stable off psych meds almost two years. Now fine on just diet changes and higher thyroid levels (after healing - addressing gut issues/Candidal overgrowth while using EMPowerPlus and other supplements). She added a little EMpowerPlus back on as a multivitamin simply because she feels better on it - gets sick less often.
Younger dd: formerly(?) Childhood-onset schizoaffective, TS, OCD, anxiety, PTSD, migraines. After over 15 years, is now "recovered" for almost 5 years after treating endocrine issues, food sensitivities, gut issues, sleep issues, nutritional/mitochondrial needs.

That is true about a higher risk of diabetes with Risperidone and some of the other APs. However, diabetes is almost impossible to miss on general lab panels, including even just the urinalysis that your daughter must have had done to have been diagnosed with a UTI. So, I don't think that's what is going on but by all means you should ask the doctors about the possibility just in case.
