Gluten free bread recipes????
This is one area that I am really struggling with finding a good bread recipe. Anyone have any? I am so used to the lightness of wheat bread. Thanks!

Have you looked online? I found some good gluten free websites with recipes.
I made cookies the other day with gluten free flour. They really didn't taste any different, but everyone commented on the texture. They were kind of sandy. LOL

So you are really taking the GF plunge? I will have to send you my brownie recipe! Yummy!!!! If you have TFAL pans, you need to replace them bc gluten hides in the cracks, as well as toasters, etc. On my list to do, but so expensive!!!

My older daughter loved to buy gluten-free Udi's bread. She says it tastes wonderful even without toasting (which most of the others needed to taste good). But that was before she realized she simply cannot eat grains at all. My younger daughter does bake her own and I know it took her a lot of trial and error. She doesn't bake as much as before, but they do bake cakes or cupcakes for special ocassions. Here, for instance is a Grain Free Banana Strawberry Muffin.
I used to make chocolate chip cookies using Bob's Red Mill Mix (and extra chocolate chips!) And just substituted EnerG Egg replacer for the eggs since I can't eat eggs.
I just don't eat breads. We like making wraps with Romaine or Red-Leaf Lettuce. When I first started out gluten-free, I did use corn tortillas for wraps. I realized it wasn't the greatest thing for me.
I've got so many links scattered about on my website.... Older dd: formerly(?) teen-onset bipolar (morphed into ultradian cycling): "Recovered" after over 13 years - stable off psych meds almost two years. Now fine on just diet changes and higher thyroid levels (after healing - addressing gut issues/Candidal overgrowth while using EMPowerPlus and other supplements). She added a little EMpowerPlus back on as a multivitamin simply because she feels better on it - gets sick less often.
Younger dd: formerly(?) Childhood-onset schizoaffective, TS, OCD, anxiety, PTSD, migraines. After over 15 years, is now "recovered" for almost 5 years after treating endocrine issues, food sensitivities, gut issues, sleep issues, nutritional/mitochondrial needs.
