Now that's some hot sauce!
Well, I soaked and cooked some red beans, then cut up all the good veges to go in it, plus some spices. All it needed was a touch of hot sauce, right? So I open this new bottle I bought in St. Augustine a few months ago without believing it's label. It's called "The Hottest Sauce in the Universe", and I now believe it. I poured a glob of it on the soup, then read the label and got worried. I touched my finger to it and tasted it and about burnt off my tongue. It actually hurt! So I used a spoon to scoop out as much as I could, but the soup is still too hot for me to eat. the soup tastes like hot sauce! DH can eat it, he likes hot stuff. But even he said it's really hot. No way my kids can eat it. Darn. There goes a good pot of soup!

Oh Red Beans with smoked turkey necks yummy. (I'm cajun we eat anythiing) Was it a bunchof different bean soup or just red beans. You know I'm going to have to make a pot of Red beans and rice tomorrow.
It was just red beans and veges. DH ate a bowl for lunch today and said it was too hot for him. Unbelieveable! He loves hot stuff.
A had piano lesson here at the house last night. His piano teacher is from Spain, and he likes hot food. I sent some home with him, and he texted me back that he loved it and would I buy him a bottle of that hot sauce?

At least ist will get eaten. My boys will eat beans for every meal if I let them. I love to cook and my boys love to eat
