Lindsay L. Informal Chitchat
So I'm looking for some small chat that doesn't directly have to do with my children.
Well Lindsay Lohan's list of prescription medications hit news today! I jumped at the opportunity to divert my attention to her rather than my own children this evening:)!
I wish Lindsay only the best. She is a talented and beautiful young actress. OMG, only 24, she has her life ahead of her.
The combination of drugs seemed odd to me. Of course I'm no doctor. Feel free to add your thoughts. This was the list:
Zoloft and Trazodone; Both Antidepressants. Is it common for a person to be on 2 antidepressants? I thought that was a no no.
Adderall; for ADHD. Should such a troubled young lady be using Adderall for her ADHD? All the nightmare stories of Adderall on The Balanced Mind Foundation and CHADD.
Dilaudid; a painkiller using supposedly temporarily for pain after dental surgery
Nexium; for acid reflux
What about treatment? Jail time and Rehab. Your thoughts.

It blows me away that someone with a known addiction problem would be given Dilaudid for minor dental work. She was photographed out partying the day after she had the work done so I highly doubt she would need something so strong!
She's been in rehab before and she continues to be in total denial. I'm not convienced that she has hit rock bottom and until she does nothing will change.
I listened to an interview last night with her dad and Fox news and he brought up a very important point. Who is prescribing these medications, are they the same doctor or different doctor's, and if they are different doctor's are they aware of all the medications she's taking?
Her total lack of respect for our justice system is completely out of control and it is outrageous. I'm proud of her attorney for washing her hands with her.
Did you hear that she was served with yet another law suit while in the elevator on her way to the court room the other morning? Her hole is getting deeper and deeper and she is making no attempt what-so-ever to turn things around.
Money can't begin to buy her any class!

I didn't know that she was served with another lawsuit. After MJ you'd think doctors and dentists would be very careful about what they RX to Lindsay Lohan.

Is she the one that was in the tabloids partying all night, night after night? I saw that and immediately thought "she has BP". If she's on 2 AD's, she's going to crashe and burn soon. How irresponsible of those pdocs.

I think mental illness & addiction can strip away all appearance of class. Fortunately for our kids, they don't have enough money to try to manage this on their own. If they did, I don't know that it would be any prettier.
