Getting Dressed for a Party!
I am going to a party tonight, just for ladies, that has a 60's theme--"Mad Women". Bought a vintage dress the other day, found some costume jewelry to go with it. I have some long black gloves that were my mother's; they truly are vintage 60's! Went and got my hair coiffed today; I am no longer ultra curly, but now have straight hair in a lovely French twist :-) It's amazing how completely different I look...and of course I'm wearing make-up, which is not the norm for me, lol. My dd is quite excited, the boys just think I look kinda strange. I'm sort of aiming for the Audrey Hepburn look ala "Breakfast at Tiffany's". The only things missing are the tiara and the long cigarette holder. DH is working, so the kids will be on their own. TTFN!
